It's been a while since I've last blogged. But during this haitus from blogging, I have been quite active otherwise. The on-going examinations have surely got me scuttling around hurriedly trying to put together a decent preparation. But this hasn't stopped me from doing other things. Firstly, I managed to fall in love! Fall in love with the realistic, subtle flow of satyajit ray's films. The strong storyline, the setting, the understated acting, the powerful but not over-the-top emotions and most importantly the 'human aspect' in the films harmoniously came together to create a rich work of art. I managed to see four of them in the last couple of weeks. I started with 'Charulata', which was based on the novella, 'Nashtanir' by Rabindranath Tagore. The others formed a part of Ray's well known 'Apu Trilogy' comprising 'Pather Panchali', 'Aprajito' and 'Apu Sansar'. Perhaps I would talk about them in detail a little later.
Moving on to music. How good are the "Fleet Foxes"! Hear for yourselves. :)
